I've thought that for years, already have the orange and white paint, but waiting for a kit! Love those Mercs and from a kit sales point, there are many variants, so it should appeal to a wide base of modellers! *NM*
It has been on a manufactures short list a few times......not sure it will ever make it. *NM*

Pretty sure Marty would buy at least one......hundred! *NM*
My all-time favorite "Factory Custom" since seeing my first '56 Montclair....PICS
I could go fot a couple of those. We had 2 really nice ones when I was in high school. My buddy had one of them, got to drive it several times. *NM*
Would love to have a styrene kit of my beloved Mercs.... If you're thinking that AMT is "half way there" with the 56 Ford kit, think again... Ford wheelbase is too short , overall length is too short, overall roof height is too tall.
Here's a comparison I put together a couple of years ago. *NM* *PIC*
Marty, I just knew you were going to tell us that. So I can put that dream to rest for ever!! *NM*
Here is a real one my wife and I had at one time - *NM* *PIC*

hmmmmph....just pulled my Modelhaus kit down to maybe take to Super September Showdown to sell...not sure what to ask for it *NM*
It wouldn't wurprise me if they do one they do a 55 instead of the more popular and better looking 56. *NM*
