I bought 2 orginal issue AMT '64 galaxie kit boxes on sale for two bucks in excellent condition, and later sold them to my friend for 40 bucks. He wanted them bad. I had previously bought a '62 Fairlane kit in pristeen condition for a substantial amount from him, so I figured that evened things out a bit. I have had real good luck buying kits and built ups at antique stores and yard sales. Almost two dozen of both over the years.
