Aw, you rookie. I graduated from the Montana Law Enforcement Academy in October of 1977. *NM*
And I graduated from the Colorado Law Enforcement Academy in January 1975! *NM*
Thing is,I had a job I HATED, got a phone call, WAH LA, Corrections!! OH, and I was 45 years old at the time! OLD rookie, if you please!! L.O.L. *NM*
T. Jessee & Danno, I've talked to police officers anywhere from Alaska,to Alabama from L.A. to New York, and NOT A ONE, would trade jobs with me!! WHY, All we had was a radio and a set of keys! True story. *NM*
WHY? (DUH) comma? Sheesh!! More coffee please!! *NM*
No wonder we have to be on our best behaviour............lol. *NM*
By the time you graduated from the IL academy, Boomer, I had been contributing long-term live-ins to the Colorado Department of Corrections, Collections, and Insurrections for a bunch of years! Congrats on your Anniversary! Hard to believe so many years/memories ago. *NM*
AND, 17 years of "Corrections" time, I was a State Licensed firearms instructor. WAY before Glock, Sig Sauer, and Tarus(SP?). *NM*
