The full fendered A has the axle from the Revell Deuce. The highboy's is from the Monogram Deuce Roadster.

I'm partial to beam axles, but they are hard to find. The Monogram unit is great, because it has excellent early Ford brake backing plate detail. You just don't want to run deep offset wheels. Mine are tucked way in.
