- My '48's for 4/8......pics.....
- Did anyone not use their '46-'48 Ford kit's stock air cleaner? With a little modification I think it could be a good start for a stock oil bath air cleaner for '61 Chevy's inline 6 cylinder.
- The elusive 8th injector has been found and put in its place of honor. PIC.
- Only 48 on the shelf thus far *NM* *PIC*
- PICs 48s! never built one in my entire 75 years until Revell brought out there new kits a few years ago. Built 4 already and probably more to come.
- Question for the group: does anyone know if there's someone who resin casts or 3d-prints a flat hood for the '71 442 kit? *NM*

- Super Mustang Trivia Extravaganza: Did the very first "Mach 1" Show Car ('68 issue) have an underhood cut area, or, was that an Autolite/Superstang modification to the tool?
- Bruce Sadewater AKA Hemiman, I sent you an email *NM*
- Two things. I want to thank everyone for all the nice comments on my builds. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling! Also I think this board is the ultimate ideal of an NNL. No worries about who wins just getting together to talk models. Down side is no face to face. *NM*
- Can anyone tell me which one of AMT's tools was their all time biggest seller? I would guess the original tool '57 BA. Am I right? *NM*
- Does anyone know where I can get the rest of the parts for this kit? *NM* *PIC*

- Good afternoon everyone! I just finished the Moebius '54 Hornet. Turned out pretty nice I think.
- Question: Anybody get any of the Tamiya Model Magazines? Thoughts? *NM*
- Yes. Planes, tanks, motorcycles, cars, etc. It's not specialized but I like keeping up with other genres, tools, paint, etc. And you see some great modeling. *NM*
- I am sure I have a couple at home. They are a mix of different models. Very nice photos. *NM*
- Yep, also get Airfix Model World, both cover all types of models tho' I must admit I get annoyed when they add a heap of aftermarket parts on an "out of the box" build, but both mags offer lots of opportunities to see alternative building styles *NM*
- Thanks, folks, for the responses. Didn't know Airfix offers a magazine, andyd. Don't have a LHS at which to get them. Try to subscribe, I guess. *NM*
- Wanted: Cutting template, instructions, or pics to turn a '61-63 Ford Pickup to a short-bed
- Franklin Mint Duesenberg Coupe' Simon story. *NM* *LINK*
- I had that happen once too. *NM*
- PIC I decided to paint the Falcons hood primer or flat black but before I did I decided to shoot it red just to see how it looks. Not too bad, now I am undecided again. I can still do flat black and then primer if I don't like the black. After primer I can do the white.
- Re: Another survey. How do you mix your bottled paints. Stir stick, shaking the bottle, etc.? *PIC*
- Starting with '66 they could be optioned just a bit more luxury inclined than their GM brothers. By the late '80s quite a bit more on average. Popular with the low riders and the pneumatic "dancers". Mother had a 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Classic Brougham - fancy. ;^) *NM*
- I used Easy Off for many years till I got chemical pneumonia. Then I started using Awesome Cleaner. I purchased in the US at Dollar tree, *NM*
- CCKW #5
- Saw that Craig Breedlove passed away today. *PICS*
- 1963 F100 Unibody project, progressing ever so slowly.... *PIC*
- That is an interesting idea. *NM*
- It's Tamiya Racing White which is probably wimbleton white just by another name. Unfortunately, the pictures is lying. It is very noticeable. *NM*
- Not sure what they were thinking with the rear spoiler, while the hood is more than just a bit too 'busy" for my tastes too. *NM*
- Been usin' that for a looooong time now(Easy Off-yellow can) *NM*
- Thank you so much, Matt & Dawn. Received the kit in great shape, and in 3 days!!! Been looking for that kit for a long time. Lookin' forward to my next shipment. Lulu enjoyed her treat also. Thanks again. *NM*

- A couple of decades ago, I had a frozen-dinner tray floating around in my vat of Castrol Super Clean for smaller parts. One day I noticed it partially dissolved away! :-) *NM*

- Definitely aftermarket. *NM*
- Use a primer gray hood with hood pins as others had said. *NM*
- FSM just posted a build of the Coronet convertible - with the Cragar GT+4's - I didn't see them in my box, did I miss something? Source of the wheels was unclear to me... *NM*
- I use Clorox Bleach or Easy-Off. I have used LP. I find the only lacquer undercoat that strips reliably is on JoHan parts (you can see it become a sheen on the surface of the bleach). Otherwise it's hit or miss. Testors ELO is worth a try. *NM*
- Or flattish black - cowl panel, too
