Good evening guys, here is my first completion for 2024.

Hey everyone, here is the first completed model from my workbench for 2024. It's been in the works for several months and it's a replica of my friend Bill's high school wheels, a 1970 Camaro RS with 350 and four speed. I used AMT's '70 1/2 Z/28 kit and made a few modifications but mostly out of the box. I added a standard single snorkel air cleaner, a photoetched grille, mag wheels and big and little tires, then painted it Tamiya British Green to get close to the actual car's color. All chrome trim is done with Bare Metal Foil and a few spots of Molotow pen. The tire decals were specially made for this project by STS Scale Model Decals and while I had some difficulties applying them, I attribute that more to my shaky hands, they look great and really make the model stand out. My friend Bill was very happy with the model and that makes me happy. Thanks for looking and have a good week!
