When I ran a hobby shop I'd sell 3-4 cases (48 kits) of Monogram #2900 DE Sr Monte Carlo kits a week. MOST of the customers were not die hard model builders. Making very limited run kits does ZERO good to the hobby. It DOES benefit the manufacture having kits sold out and paid for BEFORE making the kits.
