• I have a question: What is the engine block color of a 1967 Dodge 383, in a '67 Charger? I've seen blue, orange and turquoise! I realize I can paint this thing any color I like, but I am curious now that I've been searching. *NM*
  • Just searched Mopar engine colors site and it says Turquoise.. *NM*
  • The engine colour depended on whether you are collecting the groceries or Wallys at the local drag strip....there were 2 383's listed for 1967, a 2 barrel & 4 barrel version, I had an Oz version of the 68 Fury with the 2 barrel & it was a turquoise colour. *NM*

  • I'm 95% sure that all normal '60-'69 383s were Mopar Turquoise. The only exception was the '69 "Police" 383 which was Street Hemi Orange. *LINK*

      • Spray can lid should be painted with the paint in the can...lots of fraud going on, especially with the "chrome" and "gold" sprays! *NM*
