I have heard that the AMT Ford 1960 Ranchero has a chevy engine - is that right? If how did that happen? *NM*
Happened back in the 70's, when the '61 was issued for the first time ever with an opening hood and engine.... Intended to be built as a street machine, I guess they didn't feel the need for a proper Ford engine. *NM*
Thanks Marty ! *NM*

'66 Impala engine. It now floats back and forth between the Ranchero and the Modified Stocker Impala *NM*
Must be a pain to keep track of all that stuff. *NM*
Patterned from the MK. II "Mystery" engine - at least the accessories were in the '66 kit
The Mystery Motor style exhaust manifolds are illustrated on the first issue V8 Ranchero box, but they aren't in that kit *NM*
