I have two copies of the old AMT '32 Touring Car/Phaeton kit.
Both are the black box art (hopefully) shown in the linked image.
I had them both out this weekend and was test fitting the parts. The Interior Tub is too short! I think I have the wrong parts. Both Kit have the same parts, and the same problem.
When Installed as shown, the dash opening is 1/2" (or slightly more) from the cowl. If I move the dash slots up to the cowl, the back seat, is the same 1/2" away from the back of the body.
Could I have Vicky Tubs in my kits? The overall fit on both tubs is very poor.
I'm not sure what to do now, as I plan to build at least one of the kits as a stock Phaeton.

I guess I'll have to buy an older kit, and see if the interior tub is different from what I have.
