Post script: Stripping AMT Lacquers

Success - finally.

My intial foray with CSC was a loser - only knocked off some poorly placed decals. Polled the board for ideas, and decided to go all in with the ELO.

At first, I hesitated. Then I looked at the price tag... from the hobby shop that closed nearly 20 years ago.

A little splashing, a little brushing, then it started to work. I didn't know at the time how MANY layers were on the subjects, other than a lot. The better news: once that long-dried outer layer was breached, the 91% in the companion "rinse" tub worked a heck of a lot better, too.

As usual, the heavy accumulations and deeper recesses require more work. But is was kinda nice to see that old stuff just dissolve right off of there.
