  • He's already moved... He came to our model car monthly meeting today. I'm 2 hours away from Moncton, he's 3 hours away... Our winter trips are always dependent on weather conditions. Nice to meet John in person... *NM*
    • Are your meetings held during the day? Every model club I've went to has night meetings which can be a real pain driving home after 10pm, especially in the winter up here in the hills were I live now. Wasn't so bad in SoCal since there was less freeway traffic then. *NM*
      • Yes, our meetings start at 1pm so by 3pm your back on the road to go home. Plenty of daylight left in the day. Weather though is unforgiving... You have to check the weather reports BEFORE you leave to go to the meeting. *NM*
      • HMCA went to noon meeting time about a year ago. Night driving is difficult for old guys with old eyes. We meet at a local cafeteria that lets us use the meeting room at no charge as long as everyone purchases something to eat. *NM*
