Mechanix Illustrated and Popular Science in the 50s had features on a number of those roadsters built on repurposed underpinnings *NM*
There are all sorts of obscure vintage bodykits at Forgotten Fiberglass *LINK*
Looks like Shelby and A/C might have copied this body, LOL! And Marty, you know poor ol Frank don't sleep much and you just made it less keeping up with these projects! LOL, cool stuff! *NM*
AC Ace came out in 1953 from a design by John Tojeiro with probably a lot of Ferrari 166 influence. Looks to me like this body has more Jaguar XK-120 feel. *NM*
And perhaps a bit of Kaiser Darrin. *NM*
Don't see much Darrin in it, since the Darrin is much more slab sided due the sliding doors. *NM*
I seen this on ebay, and thought of you! Glad to see you got one. How does it rate compared to the VW supergas roadster from the same seller? *NM*
