Watched it.....Doug does a good job......but I found it kinda sad......

As in the event is no more. Some of the best times in my model car life happened at or around Toledo/NNL.
Here are my comments I left on Doug's vid

My first Toledo/NNL was 1983. It was held in a small room but not at Mudhens. I recall meeting SO many people I had read about, modelers and industry folks. It was where I met Gary Schmidt of SAE and Bob Johnson then of Monogram. I became friends with both and still have my satin SAE jacket that Gary gave me. I ended up doing a lot of freelance work for Bob and still talk now and then. NNL/Toledo was so great that is is hard to believe it is no more. I made every year 1983 to 2018 missing only 3 years. How I miss the NNL and Toledo swap meet. Thanks
PS: I won the AMT Sonny & Cher Mustang kit that first visit.....still have it......
