Friday Evening Randomness..... ENJOY!!!! *PICS*
Nice 73 Javelin....NOT a AMX as is the norm!!!! I don't like tattoos but I make exceptions! *NM*
Back in 75, I drove a 73 javelin , plum purple it was the Donahue Trans Am model I rode it hard and put it away wet.I was done withit by 76 , timing chain broke and I moved on from it. *NM*
Would love to have that one now! There used to be one (in purple) on Pepperell St. in Halifax some 30 years ago... often wonder what happened to it. *NM*
LOTSA fav's Marty.... Early 80's I bought a 67 Nova just like the one here same color and all except mine was a 6 cylinder 3-speed on the column $300 and always getting stopped by someone wanting to buy it for a drag car. Ended up after a couple year giving it to my sister *NM*
LUUUUUVE that '32 red "Vicky"!!! *NM*
AMEN!!! *NM*
I wish my name was Von Hartman. *NM*
Lucky fella. *NM*
That 57 Ford looks like a match to the promo I have. *NM*
IIRC that hot rod COE was named Henway. *NM*
Ok someone has to ask - What's a Henway? *NM*
I'm not sure of the weight class, but I hear if you rev it up too high it blows the head and you have to pullet home. ;^) *NM*
And once the head is blown it can't be fixed and then it's only good for parts. *NM*
Oh, and don't be fooled if it keeps running a little erratically for a bit after the head is blown, it's a goner for sure. *NM*
bada boom..he's here all week folks...lol *NM*
That one isn't it. Norm Grabowski built the "Henway", it was a "conventional" (engine under a hood, ahead of the cab). A few of those cabovers were built, I recall seeing a Sketchpad type article of that design *NM*
I thought I read somewhere that Henways were built by the same company that built the Rolls-Kenardly *NM*
Hennway *NM* *PIC*
Thanks Marty! *NM*
Bout time we saw denim again! and...I remember when you got that speedboat! I was right behind you! *NM*
I like that ‘68 Impala wagon! People sure like wearing denim it seems. lol! *NM*
Went thru my small stash( just '20's/'30's car kits) lo and behold? An AMT '32 "Vicky"!! Eeeeeeha!! Thanks for the inspiration, Marty!!! See ya at Dekalb Sunday? *NM*
My favorite was the red Deuce Vicky. Thanks for posting. JIM *NM*
