Very interesting!! *NM*
That will be cool ! I probably would fill in the grooves on the roof though ---
How did you keep a straight cut with the floss ? *NM*
I started with a little back and forth on edge of wing window, once I got a little depth I took the floss to the same location on the other wing window and continued the back and forth. Placing the body on my thigh with pressure from the floss held it down. *NM*
Well that was a thought but if I do that I may as well just cut up a Malibu roof. I thought I would leave it so there would be no mistaken the Nomad theme. *NM*
I can't cite a source but I believe that both the Nomad and Riviera were largely styled by Ned Nichols. One under the direction of Harley Earl and the other by Bill Mitchell. *NM*
Interesting that the Riviera was the last car to still have the cruciform “X frame” all the way to 1970. *NM*

Sorry I wasn't paying attention but maybe 10-15 minutes.... Might seem longer then a blade but at least I know it was straight across. The blade placed on a doom you just can't get a straight line. I've also used a piece of tape as a guide and lightly scribed a line **INSIDE
Oh! I only used two lengths of floss. If your careful you can do this with minimal floss. *NM*
That is definitely an idea out of the norm. Keep us posted on progress. *NM*
