You might try Tamiya Lacquer Thinner (NOT the X20A acrylic thinner). Slow and easy works best, brush some on, wipe off & repeat until done. Work small areas. *NM*

- Did you try 91% (or stronger) isopropyl alcohol? *NM*
- Tamiya lacquer smell reminds me of AMT...try the 91% *NM*
  - Heading to CVS soon, will score a jug and report back *NM*
  - FWIW, 91% strips Tamiya very well (does leave a light gray ghosting from their Gloss Black TS-14, however) *NM*
