I watch a series called "Mysteries of the Abandoned" and they had the story of the rise and fall of the Packard plant. Interesting sory. *NM*
I will make a point of seeing that - it is a parable of the rust belt
Also, according to the episode on "Mysteries of the Abandoned", Packard automobiles were way over priced, when you could buy an automobile(supposedly of the same quality), for a lot less money, if I understood that correctly. Love that series. *NM*
I don't think they were much different in price from the equivalent Cadillac or Lincoln. *NM*
i' m just going by what I saw and heard on the article that was being shown. No more, no less. As we use to say in the prison, "Ain't no thing"!! *NM*
Guessing they meant the "Junior" series Packards
