I do not like it either.....but it's 'Free Enterprise' way......

I see both sides. I have worked with Dave Burket Model King for many years. He'd run 5,000 kits normally. He always said the first 2500 sold out fast. All your profit was in that last 2500. So you have to run enough....but not to many. These early runs are to hype up the kit. At some point they will run 3,000 of a kit......tooling has to be paid for and it ain't at 1500 kits.
