DAAM NNL, Warren, Mi... *LINK*
stash...
Nice haul... I recently scored one of those '55 Chevys, complete and mostly unbuilt.... Would love to find one of those little Lolas as well.... Built one way back when, which is sadly long gone. *NM*
The '55 Chevy is the best of the early Monograms IMO - even better than the T-Bird
Stash 2...
That custom diecast is awesome! *NM*
Great pics Howard... That show is definitely high on my bucket list!!!! *NM*
Bring an empty trunk and a full wallet :) You will easily reverse them :) *NM*
Tim's Truck Stop is just mind-bending, and that was just a fraction of what was on the 'runway' - great job by the organizers!!! *NM*
Thanks! I walk a fine line between just enough and over-the-top too many *NM*
I could have spent half the show looking at them, great job as always, look forward to meeting at the next show *NM*
Your Wagoner petrol hauler is too cool. I saw those trucks around the Muskegon area when I was much younger. *NM*
Great pics Howard, and nice to meet you! *NM*
That was my pleasure :) We may meet in Texas one day :) *NM*
The fullsize cars make a great backdrop *NM*
I heard some great news yesterday. From a VERY reliable source. The International Model Car Museum will be moving to The Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, Nebraska. Seems that the lawyers just need to dot the 'I's and cross the 'T's. Not 100% official yet but super close. *NM*
Yes, I heard that as well. Great place for it to move to. *NM*
That was my recommendation last year when I talked to the museum curator...great place! *NM*
Glad to hear, always feared it would be dispersed *NM*
If a certain, ahem, lawyer is reading this, it would be good to know what formal paperwork is required for specific bequests from collectors
Amen, Ragtop! Would love to see some type of permanent repository for some unique models. *NM*
Charlie, I hope there is a Fire / First Responder Museum where your builds will wait for the bell!
Wish there was. None known to me. *NM*
There's a nice one in Phoenix. *NM*
Have you tried the fire museum at Bare Cove? *NM*
I've known about this for months, but this wasn't supposed to be announced yet. An official announcement will be forthcoming. *NM*
Great (and reassuring) news. Smaller museums transitioning has become a sad normal. Hopefully this also means some opportunites for creative displaying and growth of the collection *NM*
It was disussed at GSL 2023. I am glad it came to fruition. *NM*
Several of you have asked for more on the new 1/25th scale unlimited Hydro kits. Here's a buildup from Steve Perry at the NNL Motor City yesterday. He's preparing a Kit Review for an upcoming issue of Fine Scale, too....TB *PIC*
Excellent job! I need to build mine someday. *NM*
I rec'd 2 of the V12 Griggs Hardware version, one I gave to a mate, mine had an extra sprue tho' missing one, DA Graphics have sent a replacement.....the V12 kit also has the turbine engine sound thing, tho' an Allison sound track would be better, lol. *NM*
Hope the success of these would lead to earlier hydros at some point... Pay n Pack, Miss Bardahl, Atlas Van Lines, etc...
