Been there - done that many times. Just strip the hood or sand it and repaint. :-)
In Response To: After a few years of not painting any bodies. I finally work up the nerve to paint a body and hood ()

I build figures also and one time I had to strip the paint off the head / face like 4 times before I could get it decent.

But in the end it came out good.
