Yes it shares chassis and drive line with all the later funny cars starting in 1985...

The first kit in with this chassis was the Monogram then new tool Don Snake Prudhomme's Pepsi Wendy's Pontiac Trans Am, Dale Pulde's Miller Warrior Pontiac Trans Am and Billy Meyers 7-Eleven Ford Mustang funny cars in 1985, and all Monogram and Revell more modern funny car kits in 1:24th scale after that are based on that basic tooling including the Tom McEwen 57 Chevy Funny Car.
So that chassis and drive line are in the Pontiac Trans Am's, the different Oldsmobile Cutlass bodied cars, all the different Dodge Avengers and Pontiac Firebird funny cars, the Firebirds are the last in the series based on this tooling, the later ones are updated slightly with a few new parts.

  - Comp resin has bodies that fit that chassis. *NM*
  - There is an Arrow, Vette, 2 77 Trans Am versions, a Citation, and a couple of others. A few years ago I bought a Monte Carlo SS body that was designed for that chassis.
