Vinegar will just etch is slightly making it brighter copper *LINK*

Hadn't thought of that, Charlie. The chain is 40 links/inch and I'm not sure how to get on the inside of the links--gonna give it a try, though. *NM*
Liver of Sulfur is the classic darkening patina for bronze, brass, and copper. Depending on the surface, the strength of the solution, and the application method, it will produce a golden brown to a burgundy black patina. *NM*
