Minus the chin and exhaust....I could live with it......thx *NM*
Don't see the point, but to each their own. *NM*
Having owned a '67 Fastback.....I think I'll pass. And what's up with the 4 lug wheels? *NM*
To me... The 4 lug wheels is all part of the "identity crisis" the artist mentioned. Most all Kaido (or Bosoku cars) are cars that use 4 lug wheels. The wheels are for those style cars, hence the 4 lugs. *NM*
I'm prepared for anything. Bring it on.
I found something almost the same color... *PIC*
I love the free-hanging rubber hoses with incorrect routing, leading to external oil coolers. I guess the hoses might protect the nose/bumpers, but... *NM*
I just saw a widebody Superbird with a Kaido racer twist. After seeing your post, I now see the goof up with free-hanging rubber hoses. One line coming in, one going out. How's it incorrectly routed? *NM*
Mike, in real-life you never try to make hose like that take anything close to a 90 degree bend. You use the correct fitting to keep the hose straighter. Tight bends in any type of pressurized hose are a good failure point. I don't think this Superbird looks too bad, but the
Except that this is just a 3-D rendering and not a real car. I wonder whether on actual 1:1 cars done in this style, if the cooler actually has fluid flowing through it, or if it's just hung out there (with hoses not attached to anything functional) to achieve 'the look'... *NM*
Again, tone down the goofy stuff and I see lots of potential! *NM*
I like it. You know if you parked that in a parking lot every small kid would run over to it to see it :-). It looks like a Hot Wheels *NM*
I look at these cars as a caricature, or cartoon car. It's all about style, not function, but it imitates function with the exaggerated racer stuff. Creative and fun, not to be judged in a serious light, kind of like those rat/junkyard creations in another thread.
Tone down the over the top chin spoiler.... Lose the towel rack rear spoiler and demo derby exhaust, and your on your way to something with a lot of potential. *NM*
NAH! Ruined an otherwise nice car. *NM*
Tone down that impractical chin splitter, get rid of the ugly blocky bench top rear spoiler and tuck in those rubber cooler lines and it would look a lot better. *NM*
