Those kidney beans made the rounds - '63 Impala and Tempest annuals, then the Parts Pack, then the Cobra through white-box.

And now that we are discussing them, I'm wondering how a set would look on the olde Firestone Darlingtons... stuffed in the corners of a '57 T-Bird... hmmm.

I was casting them for a while. Went through two mold sets, before the rubber started tearing.

But dang if I didn't lose a ton of them .... somewhere... the old Ragtop Dungeon and R&D Center (now boxed up in my garage.)

  - Yes, and in some of the more recent issue of the 69 Galaxies as well. Also in at least one issue of the 289 Cobra kit. *NM*
    - Got a pic? That would be interesting. Don't recall that, but that development is hardly news! *NM*
      - The Cobra would be the late Sixties King Cobra issue, also issued by Round 2 early on. That one couldn't be built stock, but had a number of parts not seen in any other issue of that kit *NM*
        
        So - the R2 King Cobra issue would be the one to track down... ? Did any after the 'White Box' have the five-hole Halibrands? *NM*
