Jason, if they are resin or plastic, they allow for more intricate detailing. Also look more accurate in Tamiya Rubber black. *NM*

My nit with some of the other 1/35 vehicle kits, is the multiple -piece tires! Not two-pieces tires, but the one that are more than 5 or 6. Pieces for the "low tread" and pieces for the "high tread". ICM's German Ford 3000 trucks, and maybe their Opel Blitzes.... *NM*

Italeri makes a 1/24 Opel truck kit - it has rubber tires. It's still a mulipiece cab body though. *NM* *PIC*

ICM does their tires in plastic, Gotta remove them from the trees, then assemlbe them to the wheels, which have a center to hold them to the wheel. *NM*
