Question: I am currently working on the MPC Grumpy's Vega and really am enjoying it. But even though I am not worried about building a completely accurate representation of a real car, this is way off. So I am wondering what kit is available that is the most accurate ....
Nothing with any really correct detail until the early Eighties Monogram kits. The mid/late Seventies magazine articles on Pro Stockers seldom show chassis or rear suspension details, those guys guarded that info *NM*
There are SOME chassis photos of Grumpy's pro stock Vega in the book on Grumpy's Toy. *PIC*
But that book was published just prior to Jenkins' passing. Period articles on those cars include little to nothing!
