I don't know about the clear but I do sometimes spray TS over bare plastic. Mostly small parts such as engine accessories. *NM*
Ditto. But I like Tamiya spray primer under it for car bodies. *NM*

I regularly spray Tamiya TS over bare plastic, most recently their Yellow on the DDA ABS plastic 1971 Holden, the Candy Lime green over AMT's 1970 Dodge Coronet Pro Street light tan plastic, no issue with either. *NM*
I shoot the TS paints on bare plastic all the time. *NM*
