Suggestion for Dave's '60 Buick , , , I've always been partial to the flat tops myself. *PIC*
Good possibility but the closest I have is a 59 El Camino which would mean extending the roof. *NM*
Which is not impossible. It gas been fun hearing all the great ideas. Thanks to all. *NM*
Gene Winfield liked the "flattops"too. '60 4 door roof on '61 2 door......PIC
What a beauty. Is there a kit source for that roof or should I stretch my skills? *NM*
The Jo-Han '59 Oldsmobile had that roof, but those aren't exactly falling out of the trees *NM*
I have a resin copy of that, I think it's a "Vic's Resin" but not sure. It was cheap though. *NM*
His castings can be pretty rough. *NM*
"Can?" *NM*
Well, I was trying to be generous. *NM*
If I'm remembering correctly, at some point The Modelhaus once offered that roof for use on conversions and restorations.... Of course that would fall into the realm of unobtainium as well. *NM*
Wouldn’t it be neat if Moebius got into making some flat top cars? *NM*
Wish that was in my garage! *NM*
Actually, imho, the flat roof makes those cars look sleeker (if that is a word!). *NM*

How are you guys gluing the resin roof to the plastic body? Super glue? *NM*
I use 2 part epoxy *NM*
Oh, that's going to be cool! Stock? or Custom? Either way it'll be a real head turner I'm sure! *NM*
That depends on how the body work ends up. This has been a real challenge for me. Trying to get psyched up to scribe the passenger side doors. *NM*
