• Was there a version of the Monogram 1940 Ford Pickup with a stock hood without louvers.
  • I believe only the original version of the kit came with the smooth hood. *NM*
  • If memory serves, all issues before the early 80's "Lemon Crate" had a stock unlouvered hood. *NM*
  • I was just looking through my Monogram '40 pickups last night! The original flat box kit and the orange "Early Iron" issues have the smooth hood, everything after has the louvers. *NM*
  • Thanks guys. The version I have is probably the latest issue. It has vintage slightly altered box art and Lemon Crate decals. I have different plans. *NM*
    • More research shows the version I have is penultimate release. *NM*
      • Dave, if you aren't using the decals from that version could I have them? I believe they have the scallops on them? *NM*
