Day late and a dollar short my pic for 3-8

Commonwealth of Massachusetts purchased 13 of these trucks after the 1938 hurricane that devastated the area. The trucks were built by Robinson Boiler Works. They carried hundreds of feet of forestry hose and had a Fitzhenry/Guptil 3 piston portable pump. I got to drive one of these real trucks that was still in service back in 1962. Yat Ming 38 Ford supplied the wheels and chassis. Cab is resin with a brass grill.
The pump is made of brass tubing and strip stock. Flywheel is turned aluminum and is connected to a shaft and gears in the back. A band of sewing elastic is wraped around the gears inside the shroud. The pistons are connected to a crankshaft and go up and down when the flywheel is turned with the crank. 1/25 scale.
