The welled front fenders will create an optical illusion that the front end is higher than it actually is *NM*

To keep it somewhat "commercial" I'd only use one tire well, most likely the passenger side. *NM*
Personally, I vote for no side mount, especially if you are building a street rod. *NM*
Unless he wanted to build a "Resto Rod". They've got just about everything on 'em. *NM*
