One thing that really compromises the AMT 64 Impala is the headlights... *PIC*
In Response To: Can you say how? Thanks. *NM* ()

The annuals had working headlamps with clear lenses. When AMT eliminated the clear lens inserts, they molded in headlights that have a bug eyed appearance. Fortunately, there are round holes on the backside of the grille that could be drilled through. The actual headlights should be properly recessed. The Revell Impala is light years ahead in terms of detail (I did a box art build of it for them years ago - see pic), but other than the headlights, topside, the AMT 64 doesn't fall that short. It's just more work to detail.
