I may cue up Goldfinger just for fun one of these days...
Somewhere in one of the squillion or so slide trays that I inherited, there are pics of me at Northland Mall in 1966 when I wheedled Dad into taking me to see the James Bond "Goldfinger" car on display there. The swag vendor had both the kit (Aurora? Airfix?) and a 1/32 slot car - we ended up with the slot car but it never ran a lick on the commercial tracks we frequented.
Might just go ahead and cave in to my inner 6-year old and knock it together, as-is. But I still would like to have a good, stock AM DB series for the shelf some day. There's an old Monogram/Aurora kit on the shelf... and it's okay... but this looks a lot better.
Ideas and builds, post away!
