STARTED GETTING READY.... for some decals that I'm going to have made, so along with the Buick this Fairlane is on the hit list. PIX and thanks for looking.
The hood trick reminds me of old VW bugs, The rear hood would be gapped greatly at the top I guess to let more fresh air in . *NM*
What year Fairlane is this Frank? *NM*
65 *NM*

1965 annual kit.... It was later chopped up to become part of the modified stockers series. *NM*
Probably unobtainable any more eh? I know the modified kit is out there. *NM*
Just looked on ebay, for $795.00 plus $14.95 shipping I could have one. LOL! Nope, not today. *NM*
As many a young Romeo learned innaday: Asking ain't getting. If you want a nice Fairlane for the shelf, snag a tidy promo and the Mod Stocker kit, you will have 99% of the original kit.
Not sure who to credit, but, the latest Mod Stock release has a lot of the annual still left on the trees
That Fairlane is very cool! the GTO's you did were cool too! *NM*
I'm digging' it - Square cars are my favorite ! :-) *NM*
WOW! very kool,,,,but those rear shackles.....kinda iffy to my eye. *NM*
Those aren't shackles they are traction bars... I've never seen ones like that go to the rear but in looking under the car they were not part of the spring. *NM*
HMMM...Thanks for clearing that up...never seen that before! *NM*
Here is a picture of those trac bars
To me, they still don't look beefy enough to do the job. *NM*
Frank, you have mail! *NM*
I once had TWO AMT '65 Fairlane kits. But. Like many poor choices I've made, I sold both. How was I to know the Stock '65s would be gone FOREVER!! *NM*
Well. I'm hearing that one might be on the too do list for Round2 and the trophy series sometime soon.....
