I built two - over 50 years ago! OMG!! One right out of the box; the second with a hand-carved balsa 3window roof molded to the kit body.

Both were FUN!!! builds. The 3W roof was a challenge, but it came out reasonably well. Caused quite a stir - there was no such thing as the aftermarket we know these past 20 years or so. I set it up with working lights (headlamps high & low beam, turn signals - including sequential rear signals in a full width taillight panel, license plate light, gauge lights, a light-up TV, and a speaker hidden behind the seats in front of the trunk to replicate a stereo.

Pretty heady stuff for a 15-year-old. Won a trophy at Darryl Starbird's Rod & Custom show in Wichita.

Now, I have three unbuilt kits, two unbuilt Big T kits, and two Big Jag kits. I'm expecting to have a lot of fun with them whenever my eyesight begins to fail. I always wanted a Big 'Vette - the Sting Ray - but never got connected with one. Now, they are stupid expensive.

Enjoy the kit - - - it is great! And, it is a great build.
