Tamiya also makes a very dark red, called Hull Red. It's almost the color of brown primer but it's very dark. It dries flat so you would need a gloss coat over it.

- I believe there is (or was) a Dark Red but do not recall if it was 1204
  - Testors 1104/1204 Dark Red works great on chromed taillights.

  - I think 1204 was the spray, and the 1104 was the small bottle. *NM*

  - It still exists. 1104 is 1/4 oz. "Dark Red" enamel. 1103 is just "Red". This is part of the one line of enamels they did not get rid of. There is also 1105 "Stop Light Red". *NM*
