One thing--I used a Modelhaus resin chassis for the Extended Cab but cut away the back half and replaced it with the chassis rear from the 454 SS SWB kit. Unless you have one of those Modelhaus chassis, you're probably going to lengthen a Silverado front half first.

Hope that helps. (And I miss those days when those kits were inexpensive...)

  - Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for. Will probably need one of the 'monster truck' OBS kits (ex-MPC) for donor chassis parts
  - Always liked that truck. Does someone make the grill and wheels still for it? Also did that issue have photos of the red chevy on the cover? *NM*
    - Yes--it was part of the cover story. It was a history of Chevy and GMC pickups called "Star Truck." *NM*
    - And I think Iceman Collections is offering that grill now. The wheels are just the stock Silverado kit wheels painted argent silver. *NM*
