Back to the future.

This build took a bad turn with the first cab. I made too many mistakes in it to continue so it was set aside and a new build done. Things done wrong were corrected and the sequence of events was altered some. So here is where we were and where we are today.

New cab to the right. Old cab to the left. Old windshield was cloudy and the doors were made such that they were not flush with the cab sides. Both of those things were cleaned up with the new work. To get a clean windshield the buck was covered with brass that was polished smooth. This corrected the cloudy issue. Doors were made flush this time.

The doors in the photo are not quite closed making the accent line look staggered. But it is not. New turn signal bezels were added to the headlights. They still need filling and coloring. The grill guard was made again and a new mesh flag was painted. Decals have been made for the doors and back of cab to carry the line of the black striping along the sides.

Windshield wipers are done. The steps into the cab still need to be built. The front bumper is made but needs additional work before it can be mounted. Light bezels were chromed using a #2Molotow pen. The grill was painted gloss black with a final covering of Alclad chrome.

Interior door panels are aluminum flashing. Still have to install the seats and SCBA.
