At our model club meeting this evening, one of the guys brought an experiment.

He teaches computer stuff at a local junior college and has been playing for a long time with 3D resin printing. Tonight he brought this.

It's clear resin. He says that by adding a coat of Future/Pledge Clear (with a brush), the resin won't yellow as much/as quickly.

The skull's left side is clear-coated and is much less frosted than the right side, too.

Kind of weird to see it. Reminds me of the Crystal Skull. We named it Yorick.

But it also makes me wonder about clear windows and windshields. This is a very complex casting.
