...the MarchApril issue of Fine Scale arrived in the mail today. 16 pages with model cars and trucks, including a small cover photo with the top banner that reads "Classic Scale Autos are Great!". Most of the 16 pages are full page coverage of these subjects. Former Scale Auto Editor Tim Kidwell and Fine Scale Editor Aaron Skinner have been working to increase coverage of our genre of the hobby, and at least from my perspective, it is bearing fruit.

No one will mistake it for our long, lost Scale Auto, but this is also a huge change/improvement from the first year or so of Fine Scale after SA closed. Combined with the model car/truck coverage on the website - much of which is accessible to all including those without a mag subscription - the total amount of model car and truck coverage warrants today warrants a look at the mag at your local newsstand, and a stop by their website on a regular basis.
