That's interesting, as I pulled my '32 Chevy roadster out of the pile last night with the intent of building pretty much as you described. Had my build in mind for years. *NM*

Boy, that light blue seems to have been a popular color for those. I've stripped a similar shade of blue off of a couple of them *NM*

That would make into a great "Freak-n-Rican Speed Emporium" shop truck......... I'd have to look for one so pick a date and I'll throw in. *NM*

Only one issue of the cabriolet was AMT/.Ertl. That's the one to avoid (all of them have bad plating) *NM*
That's the one I have, but the plating looks OK to me. *NM*
I've also got that kit with good plating, looking at the kit now & it may get the gong as the next one to be built.....decisions,decisions. *NM*
I’ll be the odd man out, saying I’m digging the stock version. However I know whatever you do with it will be very cool! *NM*
If you don't find the chromed radiator shell and lights, try the 4mm Molotow pen for the radiator shell and the 2mm pen for the headlights. I'll be the results would be pretty good. *NM*
I'm good Charlie. Got a can of the Revell spray. I get a smoother finish with it. , , I'm not good enough to not get streaks with the Moltow pens. *NM*
