Hi All! Here is my 24 hr build I did over the weekend. A brand new Revell Mustang Mach 1 I got from our friends here at S[potlight hobbies. (PICS)
Painted Tamiya TS-20 Metallic green with ultra clear gloss coat. I used headers, valve covers, traction bars, and air cleaner from the Revell 70 Torino kit on this one. Tires/wheels are American Satco Pirelli while mags are MRC pieces. I should fix that side window and yes, I know, I have the distributor and coil in the wrong places. I noticed that too late to do anything about it. I might fix it later, but then again, this was built in the spirit of the moment. :-)
I can't say anything bad about the kit, Revell gave us a really neat Mustang with the 429.You do kind of have to pay attention to the build sequence because if you put the firewall in before youy put the engine in you will have to remove the firewall for clearance.
