I'd describe it as an early show rod that was "momentarily cool" in its time *NM*

I guess I'm the odd man out on this, I've never understood the fascination with that one. Just another nailhead powered T bucket with an incredibly ugly body. *NM*

Uncertain T found *NM* *LINK*
If this is legit (and if the Boeckmanns are truly involved, it probably is), this is HUGE news...TB *NM*
That is SO cool! What happened to the Monogram tooling? This would be a perfect time to resurface.....if it still exhists. *NM*
Interesting that its finally resurfaced, I wonder if the NZ built clones appearance had anything to do with this reappearance, either way its nice to see, now all we need is the Monogram kit.....lol. *NM*
When I first saw Steve's headline, I thought that was going to be what he was talking about... I'm actually a little disappointed that it turned out to be the real car and not the Monogram tooling. 😏 *NM*
Steve Scott talks about the Monogram kit in his blog that was linked to in the comment section at the bottom of the Autopian article... *LINK*
A very interesting read. And I know personally how crooked George is/was. *NM*
I thought it was as well. I'm surprised that there isn't more reaction here, to the assertion that the Monogram model won't be reissued. *NM*
YOU KIDS...Get off My Lawn!
Yeah, you’re probably right, but the takeaway for me is that the old Monogram kit will probably never be reissued, if the tooling is truly lost.
Interesting and it looks legit to me. I found a nicely built one at a local hobby shop several years ago and eventually sold it as I'm not really into showrods, though I would certainly welcome a reissue of the old kit.
Pics in above post. *NM*
That was indeed a nicely built Uncertain T, whoever built it took the time to make the display, I'd be proud to have it, only ever saw one built in the late 60's, never saw an actual kit in person tho'. *NM*

No, you are not the only one, I never got it either....To me it is among the goofiest hot rods I have ever seen! *NM*

Me, neither. *NM*
Its so ugly. Makes me ask, Why? *NM*
I'm generally not really into showrods, though I liked them as a kid. I do like the Uncertain-T because it looks like a cartoon that was brought to life. Why? Why not? It sounds like he did it because he was inspired by a drawing done by a classmate, and wanted to...
Yet everyone is clambering for the new C8 kit.... You want to talk about ugly! LOL *NM*
I think the C8 is a great loooking car, better than a lot of million dollar "super cars". You don't like it? That's OK. everyone has an opinion. *NM*
It’s a dead end styling theme. The C8 looks like a giant Praying Mantis. The mid engine exotics and McLaren still look better, more fluid, but value and price favors the Corvette. My favorite would be a modern take of the C3/Mako Shark II. The Viper came close. *NM*
Some times, the best approach is to design something that both provokes extreme likes and extreme dislikes, rather than go down the middle patch that offends no one. Clearly the former is at play here. Meanwhile, I checked the HAMB; this appears to be legit. I love it! TB *NM*
Kustomrama also sez it's true...so it MUST be! *NM*
It is scheduled to be shown at the Grand National Roadster Show and the Detroit Autorama. *NM*
