If I remember correctly, it was after a bad accident that he quit driving. And yes his mom probably did make him quit....lol. But it was Keith Black that convinced him to hire Prudhomme as his first replacement driver. *NM*
Leong was something of a legend on the "Islands" and was indeed a decent driver. He crashed his then top gas car in a bad top end crash. Don't know if his mom forced him to quit driving
