Thinking of Frank's '71 Mercury Cyclone down below. What color styrene was the MPC annual of the Cyclone? I have a built one in a maroon color. *NM*
70 was molded in dark red, 71 was molded in white *NM*
Mine was the 71 in white. *NM*
So then mine must be a '70. I always thought it was a '71, whoops. *NM*
'71 was unchanged except for the dated license plates on the bumpers, and the '71 having four tires instead of eight. '71 also did not include factory stripe decals *NM*
Too bad Round2 couldn’t tool up a correct interior, stock chassis and reissue it again. *NM*
Or Mobius.... I would be in for several. *NM*
Or Revell with the Torino chassis. That might be the most obvious. *NM*

None of that content was touched for the stock car release, AFAIK
71 hood is different too. No vent slots near the back edge. *NM*
