Sharing a couple of survivors...pics

A few years ago my mother cleaned out her attic and gave me a box of stuff from when I was about 7 or 8. Got it home, opened it and saw my old cub scout cap on top, didn't look any further and put it on a shelf in the basement. Well, now we're trying to clear stuff out of our storage (anybody need two tubs of original Beanie Babies that our daughters don't want!? 😒) and my wife found the box. She opened it and found another box under the cub scout stuff. The pictured AMT '36 Ford was in it, as well as a HIghway Pioneers Cadillac (for some reason, that pic won't post). The '36 was built mostly by me in 1961 and is the last model my dad helped me with before he passed away a month before Christmas '61. Held up pretty well for being in an attic for the past 60 years and as you can see, my dad gave me the glue tube and let me have at it!
