I knew you could get in trouble on FB, didn't know you could get in trouble here. *NM*

I was setting at my computer last night and realize I hadn't checked the board in several days. I felt real bad because I try at least one a day to check in but it has been crazy lately. So this morning I check in and it seems everyone is busy other places. *NM*
It has been extremely quiet here as of late... Sadly, it seems people prefer fakebook groups.... I refuse to lower my standards to that level. *NM*
I go onto FB to look at the builds that people do but there are just so many groups that I don't know which ones to join. Here it seems we have a very well rounded group of builders. Customs, street rod, trucks and even a tank or plane thrown in every once in a while. *NM*
Second that... and sorry to all but I've had so much on my bench that I don't know which way to turn first but it appears that I may have to break down and post those. *NM*
I agree, I think alot of folks have migrated to FB but Im here everyday because there is less garbage to deal with *NM*
I tried MCM forum but that seems to confusing. Yes, it is separated into different areas but here everything is in one place. If I'm not interested in a post, I don't have to open it. FB is a lot the same to me. *NM*
Terry if you sign on the MCM form you can go to unread and its like going on here that's the only way I can do it *NM*
One of my friends (who happens to be a regular there) told me he couldn't follow our board, the way it's formatted. Didn't make much sense to me. :-) *NM*
I only have a problem with people who aren't capable of disagreeing respectfully. They substitute name-calling for a credible argument. *NM*
I don't like FB either. I come here everyday. Usually multiple times per day. *NM*
When I worked at a mortgage company, I had the board up all day. Probably spent more time here that working on mortgages. No that's not the reason we had a financial failure in '07. *NM*
Never been on facebook a day in my 58 years here on earth. I prefer to stay antifacebook.
Same here. Never will. *NM*
Oddly enough, the tone of my former club's monthly meetings paralelled that of FB at times, sometimes unpleasant. *NM*
I'm pretty much there. I created a FB identity with a 'screen name' just to be able to see certain content from family members, etc., but I really don't use it and don't care much for the format (or the data mining). Messageboards like this are enough for me. *NM*

I knew you could get in trouble on FB, didn't know you could get in trouble here. *NM*
I think we lost some people when Tom C. retired and quit moderating this board. *NM*
That would be a shame but people are strange. At least I am and most of the people here are too. *NM*
People have came and gone all along. Time marches on. *NM*
I wonder when the last time new member came on here was? I really don't remember. *NM*
Is there a way to keep track of that with this software? I’m not on here all the time but anecdotally I’ve noticed new names that show up from time to time, including one in this very thread. *NM*
I have visited here since about 2000. Dont post much, but enjoy all that is here. *NM*
Been here off and on for quite awhile....
I’ve been a member since the late 90’s. I don’t post as often as I like/used to but still stop by fairly often, especially when work is slow. Loll *NM*
I like the conversational format here. The big blowup of each post on FB works, but imagine if each one of the posts for this week here had their own box, each popping out as a separate thing and all into separate categorized listings, etc. instead of the easily viewed few
Agreed, the relationship with Tom and now Matt and Dawn make this my go to place of contentment. *NM*
Been on here since the late 90s, but gravitated to other modeling forums and FB over the last 10-15 years.
