Only as a kit version. Promo was hardtop only with T-tops molded in. I wish they did a convertible body style promo back then. *NM*

Was there an ERTL '70 roadster as well as coupe? Memory bank overdrawn. *NM*

Why are Corvette and Viper promos fairly cheap? *NM*
Because a lot of people bought multiples thinking they'd retire upon selling them. The 'Vette proliferation started in the mid/late Seventies, people started buying cartons of them to set aside *NM*
Friend of mine has them back to '53, but since the end of C3, zero collector interest in anything without chrome bumpers
I was looking at an internet auction yesterday, of a Corvette prom/diecast auction, and I was surprised at the low winning bids of some of the lots.
It was great when Revell and AMT reissued the ‘63 and ‘70 LT-1 Corvette promos back in the ‘90’s. It gave promo fans a chance to own those cars without spending a king’s ransom on the originals. *NM*
I think you mean the Revell and AMT -
The Ertl '70 was sold as a retro promo in a couple of colors. Coupe only, not the convertible *NM*

'72. It included both tops. It was packaged as a '71 once also *NM*

Yes, Revell did a great job on those Vettes. *NM*
I didn't buy any when they first came out.....but found a hobby shop in VA last year.....
About 15 or so years ago the dollar store here in town (part of a regional chain) was selling several years (late 90's/early 00's) of promos... Vipers, Vette, Stealths, GEO Storms, S10 4x4's, and Ford Taurus', for, you guessed it, $1 each...
I bought the Firebird, Storm, and Blazer promos from a vendor at Texas Motor Speedway during one of the NASCAR race weekends years ago. Vendor didn't return in later years. Paid $3 each for them. *NM*
I wonder who won the $426 bid on the ‘70 Cadillac Coupe Deville promo on that auction site. Almost a half a grand a pop. Getting like the Mopar promos. Those things are getting really pricey! *NM*
Oops, sorry. $438. *NM*
