Was it the late newsman Robert D. Raiford? Been a few years since I listened to JB&B. A classic rock station in Dallas cerried them years ago, but dropped them. A classic station in Midland/Odessa carried them, but I moved from there back to D/FW.

Think I looked them up on Google, and it noted that Raiford had passed, I think.

Used to buy the JB&B tapes years ago, until the record store chain that carried them, went bankrupt.
